Building Performance Audits and Tune-Ups
We assess existing facilities and assist with proving ASHRAE 62.1 outdoor air ventilation compliance, complying with LEED-EBOM credit requirements, obtaining EnergyStar certification, and other auditing tasks. Typical facilities are at least 100,000 square feet and range from convention centers and research facilities to Class A office buildings. We also have expertise in guiding clients through Puget Sound Energy's Comprehensive Building Tune-Up (CBTU) program, and the City of Seattle's Building Tune-Up Accelerator program.
We are experts in the commissioning process, both for new construction and for existing facilities. Treasa Sweek is recognized by the Building Commissioning Association as a Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP). Our experience spans office buildings, residential facilities, and federal government buildings.
We analyze facilities for energy consumption optimization, energy efficiency measures, utility incentive compliance, and LEED Green Building Rating System compliance. We also offer peer review services for mechanical engineering design, commissioning program development, and LEED certification applications. Our experience includes energy audits of over 200 buildings including large office facilities and college campuses.
Measurement and Verification
We develop Measurement and Verification plans for new construction projects. Together with Madison Engineers, PS, we provide integrated M&V delivery: Madison Engineers performs the energy simulation and Sweek Consulting develops and executes the Measurement and Verification of the simulation results.
